Review of Neo-Reality

| My reviews of your site is from a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) perspective. I feel that SEO is important to any site because it is a great way to increase traffic to your site by improving your rankings in Search Engine Result Pages (SERPs). I think you have a lot of original content that would do very well in the SERPs if you optimize your pages more. --------------------------------------------------------------- Title and Meta Tags ---------------------------------------------------------------- Your title tags are better than most I have seen on YourSite.nu, but it appears you are not using meta description tags that are used by Google when showing your pages in search results. If you type site:site:www.neo-reality.org into Google, you can see how your pages appear in the SERPs. The descriptions are placed by Google because of the lack of meta description tags. You should treat your title tags and meta description tags like mini advertisements for each of your pages. The title tag should be keyword rich and describe the main content of the page. The meta description should in a sentence or two further describe the content of the page and also entice users to visit. When choosing keywords, I would recommend using the free tool at http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com, This will give you insight into what key phrases people are actually looking for that are related to your site. ------------------------------------------------------------ PageRank ------------------------------------------------------------ PageRank is a measure from 0 to 10 that shows you how Google ranks your site compared to other sites on the Internet ( http://www.google.com/corporate/tech.html ). It is also an important factor in determining how your pages with rank in the SERPs (Search Engine Result Pages). It is mainly determined by the number of quality links you have pointing to your web site. Your current Page Rank is a 3. This is average but can be improved by increasing the number of backlinks to your web site. You can see you current backlinks in Google by typing in link:http://www.neo-reality.org You currently only have 5. I would suggest that you try to find affiliates that have high PR themselves to link with. The higher a linking site's PR the more it improves your PR. ------------------------------------------------------------ Google Adsense ------------------------------------------------------------ I am against using Google Adsense for advertising. I explain why in my post in the Discussion Board . If you have to use any advertising at all I would suggest you use other forms of advertising such as affiliate marketing where you have more control over the ads and you don't lose visitors because of unrelated or offensive ads. | This website has a good concept but the almost definite breech of copyrights is worrying. Also the ad layout is very annoying and the oversized images are too. To improve this site you really must start by either buying a domain name or using a different free host that doesn't ad banners such as 10Fast or Webs001. | The graphics of Gift Baskets From The Heart are very original. But the style used looks like a basic 3 column CSS layout seen on most websites. I like how the green colour scheme is consistent and relates to the type of product. Gift Baskets From The Heart looks like a very well functioning E-Commerce site. The center column image (Sweeten your relationship...) looks like it has some potential for some very nice flash media IE add a moving background to the image. | Your blog content is good and in most cases humorous. But the style of the site is very basic, I am a fan of minimalism but the style is almost non-existant. The font size seems overly large and in some places looks pixelated. Thank you. No, I'm using Cutenews for my blog and notepad only to build the site. Is Drupal something like wordpress? I've tried wp, but it was just confusing for me. I found it very hard to code it as I wanted.

| I like your writing style. It makes you posts easy to read and enjoyable. I would suggest, however, that you add some navigation, etc. to make it easier to get around your blog. This is a SEO killer. I assume your pages are generated from a centralized product database. I would have whoever is in charge of updating that database pay close attention to title and meta information.
